Shipping & Delivery Rates

For any order over $25, our standard delivery cost is just $1 per order for up to 3kg to anywhere in Australia whether it's one or ten items that you purchase.  Yep, you read that right - just $1 per order.  Where your order is greater than 3kg (or too large in dimensions to ship by Australia Post) we may charge you a 'heavy-duty order' delivery fee based on the shipping address area.

For orders under $25 you will be charged a flat rate of $5 per order for postage in Australia.

* For WA, NT & TAS locations Pets Unleashed may (but not always) adjust the delivery charge for Heavy-Duty Orders.  Regardless, we will continue to absorb a significant proportion of the delivery cost & under no circumstances will you be charged any additional cost without your express permission. 

If for any reason the freight charge differs to that outlined above, you will be contacted & provided with the option to cancel your order.

For International Orders, we will calculate the shipping charges by to your destination and advise you of the delivery options available to you and their costs via email.

Shipping & Delivery Methods

Pets Unleashed ships items using Australia Post standard delivery or local courier.  Parcels are delivered to the shipping address you provide when completing the order process.  Larger items may be shipped by courier.  Courier delivered items must be signed for upon delivery so please ensure someone will be available to sign for the goods at your nominated delivery address. 

Pets Unleashed deserves the right to elect whether your goods will by shipped by Australia Post or by local Courier.

The majority of items will be delivered by Australia Post.  If there is no one home at the time of delivery, the parcel will usually be returned to the local Post outlet and a card left notifying the addressee of its location.  Wherever possible, please ensure that there will be someone present to collect your delivery.

If it is unlikely that anyone will be home when delivery is attempted, you may consider one of the following alternatives:

• Include special delivery instructions on the parcel (i.e. if unattended, please leave parcel at door, in carport, etc.)

• Choose an address at which you know the parcel will be able to be delivered (i.e. work, care of family member, care of neighbour, etc.)

Please be aware that once delivery is made (including by your instructions) that ownership & responsibility for the item(s) transfers to you.  Pets Unleashed does not subsidise delivery costs to resend uncollected parcels that have been returned to sender.  Delivery charges to resend parcels will be charged at the full Australia Post or local Courier rates.

Where We Ship & Deliver

Pets Unleashed offers a delivery service to the all states and territories of Australia and overseas.

Estimated Delivery Timeframes

We endeavour to ship orders on the same day that payment is confirmed.  Delivery times depend on a Parcel’s place of origin and its destination. Based on this, Australia Post has the following delivery time estimates:

• Delivery within the same city or town  - next working day 
• Between cities and large towns in the same state  -  1 to 3 working days
• Between other locations within the same state - 1 - 3 working days
• Between adjoining east coast capitals (including Adelaide) - 2 working days
• Between other capital cities - 3 - 5 working days
• To other interstate locations - 4 - 6 working days

These timetables are guidelines only and based on reasonable expectations and experience.

Wrong size or colour? Changed your mind?  We have a "no questions asked" guarantee with every purchase so if you're not completely satisfied, simply return your purchase to us.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns & Exchanges are simple.  Please call or email us within 7 days so that we can provide you with a return order reference number & instructions on how to proceed.  All returned items must be returned in the original box, unused, and containing all original product packaging and accessories.  Please include proof of purchase.  You will be responsible for any shipping & delivery charges for returned goods.

Damaged or missing items

If you have received damaged or incorrectly shipped items, please accept our apologies and notify us within 24 hours of receipt of the parcel on 07 3395 6668 or email askus@petsunleashed.com.au.  We will gladly replace the item (subject to availability) without any additional charges, or provide you with a full refund.

Cancellations

You can cancel your order at any time up to the point where it has been shipped and is no longer in the possession of Pets Unleashed.   Simply contact us by phone or email and quote your order number & order details to cancel your order.
