Terms and Conditions PetsU2 Rewards Program

Using a PetsU2 Rewards Card or Keytags (the “Card”) every purchase you make will earn you reward points that you can redeem on your next visit in exchange for Rewards Offers for which you are eligible.  Being a PetsU2 Rewards member will also mean you’re eligible for Random Prizedraws and Other Benefits such as partner discounts and in-store promotions.

Joining the PetsU2 Rewards program and using your Card will be deemed to be acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Earning Points
You earn points on every purchase.  Points are awarded based on the net cost of the goods you are purchasing and the product type.  The minimum number of points awarded will be 1 point per $ spent.  Additional points may be rewarded for items such as bedding, accessories, bowls, toys, crates, leads & collars.  In-store promotions such as “double-point” days and “point happy hours” may also be available from time to time.

Simply present your Card at the counter to a member of staff as your purchases are being rung up in the till.  You must present your card in order for your personal rewards account to be identified so that any points being earned by you can be accrued to your account.

Points are added to your card overnight and will be available for redemption next day assuming minimum redemption points for a reward have been met. 

Redeeming Offers
Swipe your card every time you enter the store to check your points, receive special coupons & offers, or to win a random prize.  Cards should only be swiped once per visit and any Offers from subsequent swipes will be considered invalid.

When you swipe your card your points tally will be displayed – as will any Offers for which you are eligible to redeem.  PetsU2 Rewards member redemptions equate to a discount of between 3% and 10% depending on product types purchased and reward offer selected.

To redeem an Offer, select the offer by using the touch-screen and collect the printed coupon.  The printed coupon is required to be presented to a member of staff to complete its redemption.  Coupons must be presented on the day they are redeemed and lost coupons can not be reprinted or replaced.

Due to security reasons, Offers can not be redeemed unless in possession of your Rewards Card.  Staff do not have the ability to check a members points tally or redeem offers on your behalf.

The maximum number of points that can be held before redemption is mandatory is twice the number of our highest redemption offer (currently 3700 points).  You will be advised via email if you have reached this limit.

Other Benefits:
By being a member of the PetsU2 rewards program you may also be eligible for Other Benefits which may be offered from time to time, including random prizedraws offers by partner companies, entry into prize draw competitions, or member specific promotions. Separate terms and conditions may apply to Other Benefits promotions.

How to Cancel your Card:
You may cancel your Card in person at a Pets Unleashed store or by phoning us on 1300 46 11 77.
If a Card is cancelled any remaining points or Other Benefits not already redeemed by the Cardholder will be automatically forfeited.  Only the named member has the right to cancel the card.  If cancelling via telephone, you will be asked to provide personal details to verify your identity.

Lost, stolen or damaged Cards:
Keep your Card in a safe place.  If your Card is lost, stolen or damaged, visit us in store to arrange for a replacement.  Replacement cards will incur a $5 card replacement fee.  The issuing of replacement Cards and the re-instatement of current entitlements on lost, stolen or damaged Cards is at Pets Unleashed discretion.

Important information:
Offers, Rewards and Other Benefits cannot be exchanged for cash or gift-vouchers.
Your Card is issued by and remains the property of Pets Unleashed Pty Ltd ABN 22 115 996 373. 

Pets Unleashed reserves the right, at any time without notice, to:
(a) decline to issue Cards;
(b) on reasonable grounds, withdraw or cancel Cards, entitlements, offers, promotions or Other Benefits;
(c) terminate a Cardholder’s membership in the PetsU2 Rewards Program; or
(d) terminate the PetsU2 Rewards Program.

Reasonable grounds for withdrawal or cancellation include:
(a) any abuse or attempted abuse of the Card or the PetsU2 Rewards Program;
(b) any use or attempted use of a Card, entitlement, offer, or Other Benefits in a manner contrary to these Terms and Conditions; or
(c) any reasonable suspicion of dishonesty of a Cardholder in connection with the PetsU2  Rewards Program.

Any tampering or defacing or unauthorized use of a Card will render the Card invalid.

Pets Unleashed is not liable for;
Any delay in replacing a lost, stolen or damaged Card, or the suspension and/or termination of the PetsU2 Rewards Program.

Privacy:
Pets Unleashed Pty Ltd respects your privacy.  We collect, store and use your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. We will only use your personal information to operate and to provide you with the membership benefits of the PetsU2 Rewards Program (including our monthly newsletter) and to bring you other Additional Benefits.

You may access your personal information, by visiting our store or by telephoning us during business hours or, writing to us at Pets Unleashed Rewards, 630 Wynnum Road, Morningside, QLD, 4170.

Changes to Terms and Conditions and Termination:
Subject to prior notice, Pets Unleashed Pty Ltd. reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time.  An updated copy of the Terms and Conditions will be available in store, by telephone, or via email request to askus@petsunleashed.com.au. Continuing to use your Card after amendments to the Terms and Conditions have been published will be deemed acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions.
